No one is perfect…we all make mistakes from time to time.  But Forever Poor Guy just never seems to do anything right. Time and time again he makes poor financial decisions and because of that he is always broke.

 There’s a reason why department stores are willing to give you a discount if you open up a store credit card…they know you’re likely to carry a balance and they’ll get to charge you hefty finance charges on that balance.

As you walk to the door laughing about your 10 percent savings, they’re reaching into your back pocket and fleecing you out of way more than that.

If you’re going to sign up for the store card to get your savings, you’d better be credit card savvy and pay off the balance in full every month.

  2. I never sign up for those things, even if I’m 100% positive that I would pay it back in full and never use the card again. It just isn’t worth the hassle.

  3. Don’t forget layaway another terrible things retailers implement. I avoid store credit cards like the plague.
