Now that we’re into 2015, it’s time to start planning for the year ahead. For example, investors will need to know when the stock markets are closed because those are days they can not make any trades.
That goes for any automatic investments you might have set up with online discount brokers such as Scottrade.
Of course, many businesses shut down on days when the stock market is closed, so there’s a good chance you’ll have these days off too! If not, then maybe your day will be a little easier since many other people will be off.

Additionally, the stock markets will close trading early (at 1:00 PM ET) Friday, November 27, 2015 (the day after Thanksgiving) and Thursday, December 24, 2015 (Christmas Eve).
