Father’s Day is this weekend and I’m looking forward to a nice peaceful day with my family. We don’t really have any firm plans, but I’m hoping to watch a little of the Mets game in the afternoon and then grab a nice dinner at a steak house/pub.
Father’s Day is so different than Mother’s Day. Guys don’t need any expensive presents or carefully planned days in which every detail is taken care of. Just give me a cold beer, a comfortable chair, and my grill and I’m content.
If you’re not sure what to get your dad, don’t sweat it. Just go mow the lawn or him or do something else so he knows you appreciate him. Father’s Day is supposed to be a day to relax and recharge, so if he doesn’t have to bust his butt for one day he’ll be very happy.
